Junior setter Emily Kalinowski (South Lyon, Mich.) has been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Second Team, as announced at the GLIAC tournament banquet on Thursday. This marks the first time that a Laker has received All-GLIAC first or second team honors since 2011 when Brittany Newberry received second team conference honors. The Lake Superior State University Athletic Department has named Matt Parker as Interim Head Coach for the men's and women's golf programs for the remainder of the 2022-23 season after the resignation of Tony Crisp, as announced by LSSU Athletic Director, Dr. Dave Diles, on Thursday. Read more.

The Lake Superior State University men's basketball program has been projected to finish third in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Preseason Poll with 55 points and one first place vote, as voted on by the coaches.
