Robert Beacom '47, passed away on June 26, 2022. Bob was a graduate of Pickford High School. He attended Soo Tech, now called Lake Superior State University, NMU, and graduated from Michigan State.

Ronald Bishop '67, passed away on May 12, 2022. He was an Engineer at what started out as Courter and now is called Honeywell in Boyne City. 

Christine Brisco '73, passed away in June 2022. She graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan, then returned stateside and graduated from Lake Superior State University and the University of Michigan with a degree in business.

Leslie (Conquest) Craig '07, passed away on May 22, 2022. She completed an LPN program and continued on as a nurse for UPMC for several years thereafter.

Robert Diedrich '94, passed away on April 3, 2022. He grew up in Escanaba and graduated from Western Michigan University with a BBA and Lake Superior State University with his BSA.

Adam Guigue '16, passed away on April 3, 2022. He attended Grand Rapids Community College earning a degree in Tooling and Manufacturing Technology. After graduating, he attended Lake Superior State University to pursue his dreams and graduated with a degree in Fire Science and Paramedic Technology.

Barbara Kowalski '85 and Patrick Kowalski, passed away on June 23, 2022. They met at Central Michigan University. Barb went back to college after her children entered school completing her undergraduate Criminal Justice degree at Lake Superior State University. After her children completed college, she returned to college and earned her master’s degree (LMSW) at Western Michigan University.

Roger James Land, passed away on July 25, 2021. He was a Professor of Fire Science between 1996 - 2015 and had always dreamed of being "Professor Land."

Gilbert "Gil" Mroz '51, passed away on January 12, 2022. He attended the Sault Ste. Marie branch of Michigan College of Mining and Technology and majored in Civil Engineering.

Raymond "Ray" Nesseth '59, passed away on June 14, 2022. Ray went to Lake Superior State College for 2 years and then St. Olaf College to get his bachelor’s degree in teaching.

Michael Orcutt '63, passed away on April 5, 2022. He attended the MTU forestry program in Houghton and the Sault Ste. Marie branch at Lake Superior State College, and the Ford Forestry Center in Alberta near L'Anse.

Bradley Scott Reimann '19, passed away on May 31, 2022. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management.

Corydon L. Somes '67, passed away on March 21, 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1967 from Lake Superior State College. After his marriage and his family, his most satisfying accomplishment was serving on the Board of Control of Lake Superior State College from 1970 until 1985. He was chairman of the board for two years. He was also honored to be named the 1987 Outstanding Alumni of the College, speaking at the spring commencement that year and was later named a Golden Grad of the College at a ceremony in 2018. In lieu of flowers, Cory’s family would appreciate contributions to Lake Superior State University in his memory.

Thomas L. Sinnaeve '91, passed away on May 19, 2022. He attended Bay de Noc Community College receiving an Associate of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. Then transferred to Northern Michigan University earning a Bachelor in Science Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. He went back to school at Lake Superior State University where he earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1991.
