Nevin Buconjic ’94, 25 Money-Making Business Ideas for Kids & Teens
When Nevin Buconjic first started selling home and novelty gifts to his neighbors at the age of 12, the words “start-up” and “digital entrepreneurship” were not in his mind. His inner entrepreneurial drive helped him develop a work ethic and love for business from an early age.
After selling personal computers and software out of his bedroom, Nevin completed his MBA and ventured into uncharted – for him – business territory. Several successful businesses later, he was given the opportunity to help young entrepreneurs start and grow their own business.
That’s when he realized how fulfilling and rewarding it was. Helping young entrepreneurs became his passion and now, over 20 years later, Nevin is a recognized authority on entrepreneurship, business coach and best-selling author.
Why Trust Nevin?
His attention to detail and real-world business expertise can be easily traced back to his business background, and his books reflect his own passion for entrepreneurial excellence.
In 2017, he was awarded the Startup Canada Entrepreneur Promotion Award for his contributions in advancing the culture of entrepreneurship in Canada.

Michael Peach ’82, The Adventures of ArgyLe Sock & The Death of Tintagiles Death
Michael Peach (writes as M. Kelly Peach) earned a BA in English Language and Literature with a Certification in Secondary Education in 1982 from LSSC. After 50+ publications of stories, poems, and essays in various magazines and anthologies, he is now a published author of two books both debuting in September 2024. Both are available on Amazon. “The Adventures of ArgyLe Sock”—the upper case ‘L’ indicates he is the left sock and, by the way, would appreciate being worn on the correct foot—is a contemporary fantasy novel for adult readers. It is a humorous and adventure-filled answer to the mystery of how and why a sock vanishes in the laundry. “The Death of Tintagiles Death” is a surrealistic horror novella set in contemporary Detroit. With transgressive elements and a literary style, it is a tale of the final terror of the puppet become the master.
Michael resides in Escanaba with his wife Monica. He has four children and five grandchildren.
