Traditionally each fall since 1995, the Laker community gathers for LSSU’s version of homecoming known as Great Lake State Weekend (GLSW). Great Lake State Weekend is for all ages of the Laker Community and LSSU parents and students are welcome. It is a campus-wide celebration welcoming the LSSU community, alumni, and friends for fun-filled family events to enjoy. Festivities will include celebrating the Alumni Awards and Hall of Fame Recipients.
“Great Lake State Weekend is a family favorite in our household!” says LSSU Alumni Association Board Vice President Katelynn (O’Boyle) Coon ’10. “The various activities offered throughout the weekend attract my kids and us parents, too! We look forward to this every year. With my role on the Alumni Board, knowing how much work goes into this weekend – I can appreciate it even more! Kudos to LSSU and the GLSW committee within the Alumni Board for pulling off such a fantastic event every year! Go Lakers!”
