Teaching in an Age of AI

Watch and learn about pedagogical implications and bring in the teacher perspective. In this virtual workshop, Dean Wenger and her team explore the infamous AI application, ChatGPT and discuss how LSSU can use it as a tool in classes and across the curriculum at LSSU. They focus on practical applications and implications of ChatGPT for our classes and our teaching practices.

Students and staff traveled to the Michigan Chapters of the American Fisheries Society (MI AFS) and The Wildlife Society (MI TWS) joint conference to share their research and network with professionals in the field! LSSU Engineering & Technology SAE Baja club competes in the 2023 blizzard baja competition

Lake Superior State University Engineering & Technology's SAE Baja Club competed in the Blizzard Baja Competition. After many mechanical failures, brake issues, and some freezing temps, they still took 22nd out of 42 teams participating! The team had a blast, and are excited to compete again these upcoming semesters!!
