LSSU Student Life hosted an 80's themed spring formal for students in early April, the first of its kind. Students enjoyed music, food, a disco ball, photo walls will props, and a cash bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The event included a vote for prom king and prom queen, as well as a raffle for an $80 gift card.

Benjamin Poli and Raylin Ludwig were voted prom king and queen by their peers
LSSU's Ballroom Dance Club used the dance as a chance to showcase their skills, teach fellow students, and invite them to future meetings to learn more.

LSSU ballroom dance club members danced together at the event and encouraged others to get involved with dancing on campus
The dance was popular amongst students and a welcome break from the many demands of the end of the semester. LSSU Student Life is now considering making the spring dance an annual event with a different theme each year.
