Justin Michael Kelly, Milford, died February 18, 2018 at the age of 20. Justin joined the Michigan Army National Guard and was studying Fire Science. He loved Laker Hockey and was one of the loudest fans.

Rand Wheaton Bishop ’70, Columbia, S.C., died September 26, 2017 at the age of 65.

Alice (Brown) Bobbitt ’83, Sault Ste. Marie, died December 22, 2017 at the age of 74.

Nancy Buffenbarger, Scottville, died April 23, 2012. She was of 41.

Fredrick Clinton ’58, Petoskey, died December 11, 2017 at the age of 77.

Linda (Paquette) Goetz, Sault Ste. Marie, died October 14, 2017 at the age of 69.

Gregory Grubaugh ’81, Charlevoix, died September 6, 2017. He was 58.

Donna Gulley ’90, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., died on February 3, 2015 at the age of 65.

Donald Hamachek ’53, East Lansing, died January 3, 2018 at the age of 84. Don received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from LSSU in 1974.

Robert Hodges ’54, Oscoda, died December 25, 2017 at the age of 83.

Dale Jarman ’90, Sault Ste. Marie, died January 7, 2018. He was 75.

Garry Jewett ’57, Indian River, died June 30, 2016 at the age of 77.

Edward Krebs ’46, Montrose, Colo., died November 6, 2015 at the age of 93. Edward was enlisted in the United States Navy.

Mitchell Lane ’97, Trabuco Canyon, Calif, died September 11, 2017. He was 44.

Andrew Loritz ’16, Bark River, died October 28, 2017 at the age of 29.

Walter Mahon ’72, Midland, died April 13, 2010 at the age of 55.

Jo Anne (Robinson) Martin ’77, Newberry, died April 23, 2016. She was 61.

Thomas Mayer ’69, Moline, Ill., died January 20, 2017 at the age of 62.

Donald Buchan McBain ’81, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., died in September at the age of 58.

Trinda Ann Pontus ’68, Sault Ste. Marie, died June 19, 2017 at the age of 70. Pontus retired from the LSSU library after 30 years of service. While at Lake State, she also served as a representative of the LSSU employee union.

Raymond Roe ’55, Saginaw, died March 1, 2017 at the age of 86.

Stephen Van Orsdal ’01, Battle Creek, died March, 19, 2013. He was 34.

James Zakrajsek ’68, Manistee, died November 5, 2017 at the age of 69.
