December was a lively month with a Yooper Night at a Detroit Red Wings game in Little Caesar’s Arena, a Senior Sendoff at The Wicked Sister for LSSU seniors graduating in December 2017, and exam treats for LSSU students, baked and hosted by Alumni Campus Employees (ACE).
In January we hosted a Laker group outing at a Detroit Pistons game in Little Caesars Arena, and the Alumni Association co-sponsored the Parks and Recreation Caucus on campus, organized by Professor Sally Childs.
February, along with various socials for hockey and hoops, featured a Laker group outing at a Soo Greyhounds game in Soo, Ont., preceded by a gathering at Solo Trattoria. The annual Basketball Alumni Reunion was held on campus, when both the men’s and women’s teams won close games against Purdue Northwest.
