Allisa (Hall) Simon ’03 and husband Craig Hall of Coldwater, welcomed baby girl Grace Elizabeth on April 8, 2019. Grace weighed six pounds, 12 ounces. Her big sister Hope is super excited.

Emily (Brosco) Jacques ’14  and husband Andre Jacques ’15 of Sault Ste Marie, welcomed their daughter, Addyson Renee, on April 1, 2019. She joins big brother, Jackson, at home.

Edwin ’07 and Karen (Stinson) Miller ’06, Charlotte, gave birth to Dylan on December 18, 2017. He joins big brothers Gavin (eight) and Collin (four).

Daniel ’12 and Melody (VanDusen) Tincknell ’14, Traverse City, along with their son Nathaniel, welcomed another future Laker into their family on April 11 at 12:35 p.m. when Samuel John was born, weighing in at six pounds, eight ounces and measuring 20 ¼ inches long.

Jim ’70 and Lynda (Sweet) Booth ’69, Oakville, Ontario, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with daughters, grandchildren, and close family with a cruise through Muskoka, Canada. Jim was the first Laker awarded a hockey scholarship at LSSU. He is in the Laker Hall of Fame, NAIA Hall of Fame, as well as receiving the Kenneth J. Shouldice award.

Susan L. Burnham ’82, Rochester, N.Y., married Charles E. LaBrake on October 17, 2015.

Aaron ’12 & Caitlin (O’Connor) Burzynski ’13, Gaylord, were married in June of 2013. Aaron is a farm underwriter for Farm Bureau of Michigan. Caitlin is an administrative specialist with Consumers Energy. They have a one-and-½-year-old daughter, Cassidy.

Tim Curtis ’70 and his wife Janice celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5. Children include: Tim Jr. & Krista, Joshua & Jamie, Keldon & Sam, and Billy. Grandchildren are: George, Tara, Jason, Thomas, Sarah, Dillon, Emily, Heaven, Jason, Nikki, and Stephon. Great-grandchildren include: JJ, Bianca, Jaylinn, Paul, Lillian, Morrison, Lena Sue, Beau, Sadie, Lexie, Kelson, and Fin. They also have one great-great-granddaughter:  Penelope.

Steven Lien ’77, Half Way, Missouri, married Nan Ramsey on January 9. Steve had a long engineering career with Boeing. In his retirement he is very active with IEEE Aerospace and Engineering Society and also actively involved with his alma mater, visiting LSSU’s campus multiple times and speaking with engineering students about his career with Boeing.

Nolin ’16 and Hannah (Gabbard) Livingston ’17, Sylvania, Ohio, celebrated their one year anniversary on June 15. Justin Dieck ’16, Josh Meyers ’15, Casey Shafer ’17, and Mary (Warsecke) Meyers ’17 were part of their wedding party in Adrian.

Whitney (Lyberg) Wood ’19, Garden, Mich., married Trevor Wood July 20 at Fayette Historic State Park in the Garden peninsula. Two other LSSU alumni were members of the wedding party – Shannon (Woods) Kline ‘17 was the maid of honor, and Emily McKerchie ‘19 was a bridesmaid.
