8,000 Carniolan and Italian honey bees! Locally based D&S Beekeepers delivered them to our new observation beehive earlier this year to help pollinate fruit trees and plants. Did you know that Michigan has 450 species of bees? LSSU wants to help protect them. This project reinforces the sustainability pillar in our strategic plan.
