Danielle (Makins) Lindloff ’08, Rockford, and husband Jake Lindloff ’07, announced a new addition to their family. Ira Daniel was born January 21. He was 7 lbs, 2 oz and 20 inches long. He joins big sisters Mavis (4) and Meryl (2). Mavis needs a new Laker hat!

Julie (Jozwiak) Sidelinger ’99, Ypsilanti, and husband Craig ’99, announced the birth of Daniel on April 22, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He joins big sister Paulina (3) at home.

Ryan Sigmon ’15, Kincheloe, and fiancé Hayley York, welcomed a baby girl on January 15 at 8:30 pm weighing in at 7lbs with a full head of hair. Her name is Margaux Mae.

Cera (Josephsen) Smith '13, Sioux Falls, S.D., and husband Richard Smith II ’13, welcomed a baby boy on October 29, 2018 at 5:17pm weighing in at 5lbs 11oz. His name is Sawyer Steven Smith.

Michael Boylan ’12 , Sterling Heights, married Christine Whitmer December 22, 2018 in Port Huron. Mike is a forensic scientist in the latent prints unit for the Michigan State Police Forensic Laboratory.

Jay Cockrell ’17 married Veronica Klein ‘18 in October 2018 in Hastings. They are both alumni from Lake State’s Geology department. Jay is attending grad school at Western Michigan University, working towards a degree in Geoscience Education. Veronica works at Trine University in Indiana.

Tyler Helsel ’13, New Berlin, Wisc., married Laura Ulatowski on September 1, 2018 in Milwaukee. Tyler recently started a position as an associate attorney at Pruitt, Ekes, & Geary, SC in Racine, Wisconsin, focusing on municipal law.

Katey Price ’07 and Eric Worley '07, will celebrate their second anniversary on March 4th. They met at LSSU while taking Communication classes.
