Mark J. Engels ’93, FOREST EXILES SAGA Urban fantasy thriller series
Mark’s childhood interests in trains and electronics led to a career as an electrical engineer, designing and commissioning signal and train control systems for railroads and transit agencies across the United States. After writing articles for rail industry trade magazines, he turned to novel-length fiction, drawing inspiration from his love of anime, manga and anthropomorphic fandoms. A Michigan native, Mark now lives in Wisconsin with his wife, son and dog. He is a member of Allied Authors of Wisconsin and the Furry Writers’ Guild.
