Lakers Gather for Great Lake State Weekend 2019

Members of the community, along with past, current, and future Lakers converged on LSSU’s campus during Great Lake State Weekend 2019 October 11-13. Highlights of the weekend included the recognition of four accomplished alumni, a celebration of Dr. Madan Saluja’s 50 years of teaching, a Women’s Walk, a 5k Fun Run and a Tailgate party featuring live music, food and drink, campfires, a cornhole tournament, face painting, and more. Join us for GLSW 2020, date yet to be determined, but generally in mid October.

$25 from the sale of each new license plate goes to the LSSU Alumni Association and we receive $10 for each renewal. Proceeds fund the LSSU Alumni Legacy Award and various alumni programs and services. Laker Fans living outside of Michigan can get a Laker affinity collector plate to show their Laker Pride!
