To Our Laker Men’s and Women’s Basketball Alumni –
We’re excited to welcome Laker basketball alumni back to campus on Saturday, February 21, for this year’s Basketball Alumni Reunion Weekend. The Bud Cooper Gymnasium will once again be filled with familiar faces, shared memories, and plenty of Laker pride.
During Saturday’s games, LSSU will honor two remarkable teams: the 50th anniversary of the ’75–’76 men’s GLIAC regular-season championship, and the 30th anniversary of the ’95–’96 men’s GLIAC Tournament Championship. These teams left a lasting mark on Laker basketball, and we look forward to welcoming them back to center court.
Alumni who register by Monday, February 9, will receive two free tickets to the games on Thursday, February 19, and Saturday, February 21. Tickets will be available at the Norris Center Ticket Office starting at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
If you plan to join us for the halftime recognitions, please register online to make sure your name is announced when you walk onto the court. It’s always a special moment—and we don’t want to miss anyone.
Between Saturday’s games, alumni are welcome to enjoy complimentary pizza and soft drinks at the north end of the gym. The celebration continues later in the evening with a post-game social at Moloney’s Alley.
