For the last two years, Laker Alumni, Ryan and Carrie Sharpe have been creating a successful podcast together called\u00a0Speaking with Ryan & Carrie Sharpe.<\/span><\/b><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>During each episode they chat about communication topics during their coffee dates. Their conversations help listeners connect with others in sales, public speaking, networking, podcast interviews, their workplace, and even their home. Grab a cup, and enjoy the conversation! As of June 2021, 48 episodes have been published.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on the couples relationship to LSSU, Carrie had this to say, \u201cWe met, dated, got engaged, and got married while we were students at LSSU. Ryan was there to play hockey (he was on the \u201994 championship team) as well. We graduated in \u201998. Carrie\u2019s father (Stuart Clark) is a LSSC alum (\u201974), and our son, Maguire Sharpe, is a current student. Maguire is currently on the D2 hockey team and is studying business\/marketing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
