Alumna Highlights Accommodations in Education and Career at Accessibility Services Event<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

On April 3rd, Accessibility Services hosted an insightful event featuring LSSU alumna Susan Drockton '17, who discussed the evolving role of accommodations from student to working professional, while reflecting on her personal experience through her journey from student to Speech Language Pathologist.<\/div>\n

LSSU Alum Shares Fire Safety Tips With the World<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

LSSU alum Patrick Durham '06, is a man of many talents. Currently working on development projects in the automotive industry as an engineer, Durham has amassed a number of patents over the years for his designs and solutions. He is also a captain and training officer at the Troy Fire Department. Durham uses his knowledge in the fields of engineering and firefighting to educate the public on fire safety through his successful YouTube channel under the handle @StacheDTraining. He <\/span>currently <\/span>has <\/span>over <\/span>38,000 <\/span>subscribers <\/span>learning <\/span>about <\/span>general <\/span>fire <\/span>safety <\/span>and <\/span>the <\/span>increasingly <\/span>relevant <\/span>challenges <\/span>of <\/span>electric <\/span>vehicle <\/span>incidents, <\/span>as <\/span>the <\/span>number <\/span>of <\/span>EVs <\/span>on <\/span>the <\/span>road <\/span>continues <\/span>to <\/span>rise.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n
