Trooper Andrea Tillman '16,\u00a0<\/strong>member of the Michigan State Police (MSP) Women Leading Change resource group, is currently guiding an effort called Purses with a Purpose statewide for a third year.<\/p>\n

Tillman began this cause to get local residents involved in events during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April 2019. Purses and bags are filled with comfort items, such as socks, toiletries, and candy are set to be distributed to women's shelters at the end of April.
