GLIAC Announces Winter All-Academic & Academic Excellence Teams<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
\n

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the GLIAC All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence Teams for the Winter 2021-22 semester.\u00a0 31 student-athletes from Lake Superior State achieved academic honors, including 14 on the All-Academic teams and 17 on the Academic Excellence lists.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first-year transfer student. GLIAC All-Academic teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. GLIAC Academic Excellence teams are comprised of student-athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the fall semester of 2021. The Lake Superior State University men's and women's tennis teams dropped their matches to the Grand Valley State Lakers on Friday, March 25 and the Ferris State Bulldogs on Saturday, March 26 in the opening weekend of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play. The men's team fell to GVSU by a final score of 4-0 and the Bulldogs by a 6-1 final score.
