Members of the Sault Loretto High School Classes of 1957, 1958, and 1959 gathered for a joint class reunion this summer and raised over $4,000 to benefit the Sault Loretto High School Scholarship at Lake Superior State University.\u00a0 Established in 1990, the scholarship was created by Sault High School and Loretto High School alumni to provide scholarships to deserving Sault High graduates attending LSSU.\u00a0 To date, over 140 students have benefited from this scholarship.\u00a0 A special \u201cThank you\u201d to the Class of 1957, 1958, and 1959 for their generosity and commitment to the future classes of Sault Area High School.<\/p>\n

The scholarship also offers a unique way to honor a friend, favorite teacher, class, or family member on the digital plaque on LSSU\u2019s website. Today more than 350 persons, graduated classes, and organizations are featured on the plaque.
