{"id":1001,"date":"2019-08-15T15:46:41","date_gmt":"2019-08-15T15:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakerlog.lssu.edu\/august2019\/?p=1001"},"modified":"2019-08-21T21:19:28","modified_gmt":"2019-08-21T21:19:28","slug":"lssus-teacher-preparation-program-ranked-one-of-best-in-nation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakerlog.lssu.edu\/august2019\/lssus-teacher-preparation-program-ranked-one-of-best-in-nation\/","title":{"rendered":"LSSU&#8217;s Teacher Preparation Program Ranked One of Best in Nation"},"content":{"rendered":"<span  class=\"x-dropcap\" >L<\/span>ake Superior State University\u2019s undergraduate elementary teacher preparation program has been named one of the nation\u2019s top programs by the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ), a nonpartisan, not-for-profit research and policy organization.<\/p>\n<p>This month, as part of a new book, Start Here to Become a Teacher, NCTQ named 120 undergraduate programs that excel in preparing teacher candidates to meet the demands of their careers.
